Attack on congress rally in Ajnala

Three people were injured when a group of around 10 youths, suspected to be Akalis workers, attacked the Congress bike rally in Ajnala on Sunday.
The injured, Sarwan Singh, Sukhwinder Singh and Aman Kumar, were rushed to a hospital.

President of congress committee rural, Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that they have organised a bike rally across the city against ongoing drugs issue in Punjab. He added that as SAD is only responsible for the issue of drugs, local leaders have interrupted the rally with their deadly attack.
He said that Bony Ajanala who was the prime accused of the drugs supply in Punjab felt offended through this rally. Following the attack, three injured were rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the congress has lodged the police complaint against the Bony Ajnala and others seeking registration of police case against him. The congress spokesperson said that they have given the ultimatum of two days to take prompt action otherwise they will plan their next course of action.
