Bhagwant Mann brings back 20 youth trapped in Saudi Arabia

Jalandhar/Chandigarh, June 28, 2017: Aam Aadmi Party Punjab president and Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday addressed the media at Jalandhar along with the 20 youngsters who were brought back to India after a video of them seeking help went viral on social media. Mann told the media that among the youngsters returned back 2 each are from UP and Rajasthan and one is from Haryana, rest are from the different parts of Punjab.
These youth had appealed to Bhagwant Mann to help through a video and said that they were trapped in troubles. They also told how the Punjab agents ensnared them. On this Mann acted swiftly and approached the ministry of external affair to do needful in the matter.

Mann said that unemployment in state is the root cause of youth forced to go abroad for their survival. He said that the government must provide jobs to the youth so they can make their ends meet while staying with their families. “I hope the promise of Captain Amrinder Singh to give jobs to every household in state will benefit these youth as well.” Mann Said. He promised to raise the issue during upcoming session of Lok Sabha.
Charanjeet Kumar, one of the youngsters who returned back told that there are many more Punjabis like them who are stuck in Saudi Arabia. He told that no other politician other than Bhagwant Mann helped them despite knowing their pitiable condition. “Our family member approached our MP from Hoshiarpur, Vijay Sampla but he did not bother about our case and nothing was done in this regard.” said Charanjeet.
